Clinical trials allow patients to access treatment for conditions that may, otherwise, be untreatable. To make it easier for patients and clinicians to find these trials in New Zealand, I have put together this visualisation to show what trials are available in New Zealand for ophthalmology conditions.

You can filter and explore the trials available by conditions and by the status of the trial, i.e. if it is still actively recruiting patients.

Note

The data from this visualisation comes from clinicaltrials.gov, and not all trials in New Zealand are listed there. You need to discuss with your ophthalmologist if a trial is suitable for you. If you have a retinal condition that you think may benefit from participating in a clinical trial, I am happy to see you in my practice for an assessment.
